Far too often we see and have to deal with the consequences of poorly drafted contracts of employment.  Their importance cannot be understated, as the contract forms the primary basis of the relationship between employer and employee.

We draft all our clients’ contracts of employment bespoke, be they contracts for award or non-award employees, senior executives inclusive of senior executive bonus arrangements and restraint clauses that will be enforceable.

We also provide advice to our clients around the alleged breach of directors’ duties under the Corporations Act 2001.

 

At settlement of a dispute, we will draft the binding deed of settlement.

We also have many years’ experience in drafting and advising clients on their employment arrangements in respect of enterprise bargaining and agreements.  Mike has particular expertise in the oil & gas, manufacturing and coal industries.  The Fair Work Act has recently undergone fundamental change in the bargaining space and we encourage clients to seek advice, as the changes will fundamentally alter agreement making in Australia into the future.
